I am starting this group due to the fact one like it doesn’t seem to exist. There are plenty of hiking groups I have found in Philadelphia area, they all seem to fall into one of two groups. First kind of “hiking” group is for the slightly older crowd, mostly people in their 40s and 50s to take a leisurely hike around an arboretum. This would be perfect if I was 15 years older. We organize moms' time out, kids' field trips that require a minimum group size to attend (particularly volunteering, outdoor exploration & educational events) and fun activities that you could do on your own but that are even better with good company.  We also post dozens of local community events.
